Wedding favor ideas on a budget
Here’s a few wonderfully creative ideas for cheep wedding favors if you are on a budget!
Buy trays of seedlings of the flowers of your choice and repackage them in pretty origami boxes (instructions on how to fold an origami box will follow shortly) add a nice quote and thank you message and voila! Cheap and eco-friendly!
Make up gift bags for the men with two tiny bottles of whiskey or brandy and a sachet of aspirin for a tongue in the cheek thank you gift. For the ladies make up a gift bag of handbag sized tissues packet, waterless hand cleanser, lip ice and breath mints- Cheap and useful.
Buy enough tiny notebooks and pens, decorate to fit in with your wedding theme, this way you can make sure your guest will remember you wedding day for a long time!
There are many wonderful wire artists on the sidewalks here in SA, commission them to make beaded key rings that complete your wedding theme.
If you bake – why don’t you make cupcakes, package them in pretty boxes and you have a yummy thank you gift that won’t cost you and arm and a leg! I’ll post a very economical cupcake recipe soon.
If your wedding theme is nature, even if its not, package some flower seed in pretty envelopes with an original quote and thank you message.
Buy cheep tiny photo frames and put your thank you note inside, you can also use this to show your guests where to sit.
Use your scrapbook skills to make fridge magnets with a nice quote, that will remind your guests of the wonderful day you shared.
